Why should I switch to solid? I’ve always used traditional moisturizers.

Great question! Once upon a time, we had the very same question. Solid moisturizers last longer, are highly concentrated, and are just better for the environment. We believe in our products, and the greater good of solid beauty, and strongly encourage you to take advantage of our Try Before You Buy program, if you're interested but unsure. Solid moisturizers are truly elevated products. 

How long will my Good Condition moisturizer last?

Our face moisturizers will last about twice as long, with daily use, as a traditional water based moisturizer. In our experience, that's about 2-3 months. Our body moisturizers last about 6-8 weeks with daily use. Results will vary, depending on how often you use your moisturizer (and how much you use), but we believe that you'll be pleasantly surprised at how long-lasting our solid moisturizers are.

Are your ingredients organic?

All of our ingredients are certified 100% USDA organic, and our original body and face moisturizers have undergone the rigorous MADE SAFE® certification process. This means that all of our ingredients have been proven to be completely non-toxic, and safe for use on skin.

Are Good Condition moisturizers cruelty-free?

Yes, all of our ingredients have been certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny®.

Are Good Condition moisturizers vegan?

Yes, all of our moisturizers are 100% vegan.

Should I use your products if I have allergies?

Our moisturizers do sometimes include organic nut oils, and our body moisturizers are organic cocoa butter based. Therefore, some of our products may not be best suited for those with nut or chocolate allergies. If you're unsure, please reach out to us at info@goodcondition.com, and we will gladly help.

Body Moisturizer Questions

What is a solid moisturizer?

A solid moisturizer is just a body lotion, or body butter, that's made without water. The resulting product is ultra-concentrated, and much more long-lasting than traditional moisturizers. Because it's made without water, a solid moisturizer can be packaged differently. We use paper tubes, which are compostable, biodegradable and recyclable. To use your tube of moisturizer, simply apply to dry skin, and rub in.

How do I store my moisturizer?

Our moisturizers are made with organic butters, and poured in biodegradable, compostable tubes. You should always keep your moisturizer tubes out of the sun and in a cool, dry place. There is no need for refrigeration, and we don't recommend placing your tube it in the fridge. If it happens to get a bit warm, just place it in a cool place for awhile. It will firm up quickly. 

Face Moisturizer Questions

How is your face bar different from a traditional moisturizer?

Our face bars are created with a kokum butter base, which is perfect for facial skin. They are 100% active, and contain no "filler" ingredients. You'll use our face moisturizers in the same way that you've used traditional moisturizers. Apply to a clean, dry face before bed, or before your sunscreen and makeup in the mornings. Their ultra-concentrated design makes them extremely effective and long lasting. Just read our reviews!

 

Shipping and Packaging

What is your packaging made of?

Our beautiful packaging is made of paper, a renewable resource that’s both naturally biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable. Our mission is to create the highest quality skin care products with the lowest possible environmental impact. We’ll never package our moisturizers in a permanent object for you to “figure out” how to thoughtfully dispose of, and we’ll never, ever utilize plastics in our products or product packaging.

I’ve ordered! What happens next?

After receiving your order, we’ll get it packaged in an insulated box, and send it on its way to you. We ship Monday through Thursday, and its very likely that your products will ship on the day the order is placed. We do not ship on Fridays in order to prevent your products from sitting over the weekend in shipping transit. Take note of your delivery date. Although our packages are insulated, allowing your package to sit in the sun for a long period of time is never a good idea!

My package arrived, but there are issues!

Packing and shipping butter-based products is an art form! While we do everything within our power to ensure that your moisturizers arrive in perfect condition, things sometimes happen. If your package or product didn't make the journey well, please let us know right away, and we’ll replace it. Reach out to us at info@goodcondition.com, and we’ll take care of everything.

What is Good Condition? What is Good Condition’s mission?

Good Condition is a small, family-owned business that formulates, pours, and sells organic solid beauty products. It was founded by Cherie Baughn in an effort to create organic, sustainable solid products with plastic-free packaging. Unable to find solid moisturizers that were 100% organic, Cherie used her background in Usability and Design, and began formulating. Today, Good Condition is dedicated to providing organic, sustainable skincare solutions with no plastic waste. 

Where are Good Condition moisturizers made?

All of our moisturizers are hand poured with love in our San Marco, Florida studio. We start with raw cocoa or kokum butter and add organic, plant-based oils to create nourishing, sustainable products.
